Tourist Sites

 Hi everyone!

The first place that I visited in Munich was the old townhall which was built between 1470 and 1480 with a gothic style. The tower is 55 metres high and has a peculiar museum that shows the history of toys. There is also a new townhall that you can visit that was built between 1867 and 1908.

Another place that I loved was the river Eisbach. Here you can see many people doing surf. The river has a small wave which is difficult to surf. This attraction is open to everyone specially those who love to surf.

The English Garden is a perfect park for a picnic with friends. I really liked this because I was surrounded by nature and lakes. There were people cycling around, something very typical in Germany.

Oktoberfest

 Hi! If you are going to visit Munich, I recommend you visit it with friends in October, so you can attend the Oktoberfest. The Oktoberfest is a festival of beer. The Oktoberfest is organized in the city centre of Munich and it is easy to access with public transport. You should go early because there are a lot of people who go to drink. I went with my friends and had a great time. I met a lot of people and I hope to go back in a few years. The food was delicious and there was a wide variety of food to choose from. You have to buy a traditional suit or dress like the locals do. Make sure you book a table in advance because if not you will have to stand during hours.
